Hello,

I'm going to get a video card (GTX 960 4gb)over a few months. I found out that my mother bord still has PCI Express 2.0. I know there is no difference between 2.0 and 3.0 but can drivers act different between them because I have driver problems with the video card I now have (a radeon 6870 that still has driver 12.1 xD). It's probably AMD stupid driver support but can PCI Express 2.0 also act"funny", you know what I mean right?!!!

Thank you

Difference between PCIe2.0 and PCIe 3.0 is unnoticable for gaming. Benchmarks might see something, but you certainly don't. Drivers shouldn't care about which slot is used. If they would, the manufacturer would loose customers very quickly and get bad rep about it. If you have got reply from AMD support claiming such, its probably someone who doesn't know these things very well.
