Gsync on laptops - low end?

Wouldn't it make sence to put gsync on lower end laptops, since you dont need as many frames to get the 60fps feel, especially for smaller notebooks with lower end gpus it would make sence? Should we expect gsync to start to convert to 13" or lower end?

Since it requires no iGPU access (due to being a nVIdia tech) you'd kill your battery life for it. Nobody would bother cutting battery life down to ~2-2.5 hours from like 5 hours (or more) just so they  could have gsync in games.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

so getting a better gpu to get 60fps would be better?

Up to you... I'll never deny the benefits of a stronger GPU, but locking to 60fps is the "vsync problem". Gsync fixes this, however requires no iGPU which means no (good) battery life for you. You pick one.

Get machine with battery life and intel iGPU limitations to I/O ports inclusive of internal screen

or

Get machine with worse battery life, likely thicker, but much more suited to gaming and keeping its internals cool (and generally running at spec in 99% of situations). This one also allows for gsync, and with no iGPU, you could do things like: overclock display. Create custom resolutions. Have access to desktop shadowplay recording and DSR with nVidia cards. Etc etc.

There is no "perfect" laptop. Battery tech has not evolved to the point of mass-producing better batteries, so tech like Optimus and/or ULV CPUs is required to keep power at an all-time sipping low. But getting those automatically affects gaming or anything that requires advanced tech. So you make a choice.
