Players will still prob play Source 1 instead....similar how Pro players still played 1.6 after CS:S came out.

Not quite. CS:Source was kind of dumbed down and introduced randomness where there was none in 1.6. The "spray patterns" in source were more random and less of a pattern, and therefore you couldn't compensate with skill. Pro players hated that. CS:Source was basically the CoD of Counter-Strike.

Source was messed up as fuck, you could just run and gun all day and still kill people.
