960 vs 970

looking to build a new pc in the next month. its currently rough sketch time (figuring 5 month window)

build will be most likely an i5 (OC), 8-16gb ram, $100 motherboard

 

 

the main question I have is which GPU? I am an avid shield user so sorry AMD.

I don't mind to OC.

 

I will be running either 1x1080 and 1x 1440p monitor or 2x1080p.  (maybe a 1440p UW)

my main games I run is Wow, batman arkham series and hearthstone, and a 1080p video stream.
(currently running wow with a 7770, and the other 2 on tablets)

 

and if I go to OC, which models tend to get the best OC?

For 1080p needs, get a 970.
