Deathadder is comfier imo, but do NOT use the Razer Synapse software, use the legacy drivers and it works fine.

Not here to steal the thread, but why should I not use the software? I currently use the DA Chroma with razer synapse, seems to be fine.

And to OP, I already really love my DeathAdder Chroma that I bought a few months ago. It's comfortable, is nice and big, and has a perfect weight to it

CPU: I7 4790K(4.6@1.252v)                               Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Windowed(Black)           Cooler: CM 212 EVO + NF F12 iPPC

RAM: HyperX Fury 1600MHZ CL10 2x4GB      Storage: Samsung 850 EVO(250GB) + WD Red(2TB)      PSU: Corsair RM750 (and no, it hasn't blown up!)

MoBo: Asus Maximus VII Ranger                      Graphics: MSI GTX 970 TwinFrozr (1494MHZ Core)       OS: Windows 10 Enterprise

As someone who has used one for the last year now, Deathadder 100%. It has a great shape, and works quite well. Synapse is ok, but to be fair, most peripheral software is kind of bad

If you don't want to go with Razer for whatever reason, I'd highly recommend taking a look at the Corsair Sabre. Much better shape, and it's nice a light, which is something I prefer, especially since I prefer a low sensitivity. You can also get it with RGB lighting, and your choice of optical and laser sensors (Go with optical). I like it, and I considered buying one, however Razer sponsors more esports, so that kind of influenced my choice there.

I've owned a Deathadder in the past, and whilst it's a nice mouse the Synapse software is awful. Whenever there's an update, there was a 50/50 chance of it being borked, and causing a BSOD, or a crash.

The legacy standalone driver however, gave no issues whatsoever, and gives full functionality to the mouse.

I guess that I just haven't experienced that (knock on wood)

It really depends on the shape of your hands and how you hold a mouse. They are in no way similar in shape or size. If you like the feel of the M65 in the hands though then the M45 is a better choice as it uses an optical sensor.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
