Crashing!!!

My screen keeps turning black and the screen comes back saying my driver failed and recovered and it keeps happening until it does not recover.This only happens the first time I open my computer after a few hours of not using it.It also happens when I play video games for a while and quit and browse the internet and it would suddenly crashed.My driver is 320.18 and my graphics card is gtx 550ti.I have tried downloading the driver several times, but the problem still occurs.Any idea what causes it?

the infamous fermi's bricking 320.18, use 320.49 or revert back to older driver instead.
