Hi, I am having issues with ICS and remote desktop.

My desktop is connected to the internet through a laptop ethernet port, the laptop to the wireless router we have.

The desktop is assigned the IP:192.168.137.1

However, I need Remote Desktop to function, in order for this to work, I need the router to recognize the Desktop. The problem is, the router uses the range 192.168.1.x

So my ICS-Powered Desktop cannot have a port forwarded to it...

If I set another IP in the adapter settings, the Desktop cannot connect to the internet, plz help me figure this out.

What kind of remote desktop'ing do you need to do? Because if just for troubleshooting you can save yourself the hassle and use something like teamviewer.
