In reddit U can get windows for $15. Do they give u a code and U can insert it when your computer boots up or??

I don't want any of this bull**** buy windows. Response= stuff that. Complete waste of money and complete rip off especially in Australia. I would pay $30 for an operating system not $130

The reddit keys you talk about are just the cd-keys needed to activate windows.

You still need to download a ISO of the installer. Keep in mind however, these keys are most likely against the MS EULA, and potentially can be cancelled at any date. It goes without saying that if your getting keys for anything related to a business, your begging to be fired for using these product keys (i.e. MS will audit you and you will need to replace every key).

Also, Most students get MS products for free/heavily discounted. That being said, if your not at uni these reddit keys seem great for setting up a home lab that gets around the 180 day trial (some people can read a brain dump and get certified, I like to take my time and learn how the technology works so what if it takes 6 months per cert?).

Why would they sell windows for $130 if it's for free???? On the Microsoft store its $130

U still need a product key it says. There would be a download button with 1gb of storage for windows.

MS makes it's money in the business/Enterprise market. Business licencing is a gold mine.

Your looking at 5-900 for a server OS, then CAL, then you also need to consider that the Window server os license only apply 2 sockets for the standard licence and oh god i am getting the shakes just thinking about ms licensing.

No one said free. If they would put the price of the OS to 30$ I would gladly buy it. But at 100$ + tax? You are kidding me.

Like @Teemo4Life said, they are 340 billion company and yet they can't reduce only one product by 60% or 70%?

I find it funny when people complain about $100 for an OS that they use on a daily basis for years on end, yet don't have a problem with forking over $60+ a shot on a game they'll play for maybe a couple months (which wouldn't be possible at all without the $100+ OS).
