I don't really know where to post this, I hope I am in the right place :) !

Well, since 2 or 3 months, DSR doesn't work anymore on my system. Changing resolution for my games through geforce experience doesn't work, trying to change the DSR factors in the nvidia control panel doesn't work either. I have looked for this kind of problem here and there but nobody seems to encounter the same issue. Here are my system specs :

I5 4690k

GTX 970 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

2*4 GB of DDR3 RAM (Kingston)

MSI Z97 Gaming 5

1 TB Seagate Barracuda

It really bothers me as I am playing in 1080p and my GTX 970 can handle some big resolution.

So, what do you think I ought to do ?

Thanks for the replies.

dsr does actually make it look better, its just upscaled, my dsr works on my 970, maybe you need to reinstall the drivers buddy.

But I really hate aliasing and it greatly helps in old games where I can get lots of FPS even in 4K (4k downsampled to 1080p I know that don't worry ;) )

i like doing that xD, on black ops 2 it makes the edges really smooth, dont do dsr on counter strike though, it doesnt look any different at 4k xD.

use this bud http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

click on the clean and shutdown one and be sure to tick the box that says delete amd/nvidia folder.

Just because the 970 can handle a higher resolution doesn't mean you'll get that resolution in a 1080p panel.

DSR is just a "because we can" feature. I wouldn't even bother with it.

It is if you have the GPU power to do it..

Yeah that's true, but man is it cool to have for older games. Playing some old Lego games at 4k DSR, and it seems to make a difference. Getting a solid 60fps with my 970 too.

I don't do signatures.
