Hello,

Will the prices of DDR4 memory drop when the Skylake CPUs are coming out? Because I think that DDR4 will become the new standard.

Thanks in advance,

They all got cheaper once the technology matured.

It's very likely that DDR4 prices will drop a while AFTER DDR4 has become usable with the mainstream motherboards. A pure guess would be ~2 months after Skylake drops (if it does support DDR4 out of the box, that is).

But how much the prices will fall? Nobody knows. And there is also very little you gain from going from DDR3 to DDR4.
