Hey all,

My friend wants a pc for star citizen and some other graphically intensive games (BF4, etc.) for 900 give or take. I told him to wait a week or two as all of the new gpus are coming out right now but since its only the gpu that will probably change, I put together a parts list for him now.

There it is, tell me if you have any critiques. I dont think he wants a monitor or a keyboard or a mouse, but i need to get in touch with him for that. So for right now its 900$ without that. Another question I have is do I need to get an OS for him or will windows 10 be free?

If you have a better build please make a suggestion and the 290x is the gpu he would be getting if the new ones are to expensive or not worth the money.

Regards,

Jackson

Use permalink :P

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Why do you recommend the EVGA over the corsair. Don't get me wrong I have an EVGA psu and its great, but i dont really see a benefit over the corsair.

it's who makes the internals. EVGA just slaps the logo on same with corsair, SeaSonic, Super Flower, and EVGA are just my go to ones. In my opinion corsair cheapo out on PSUS. Like the one I picked out SeaSonic makes it. The one you picked CWT makes, now nothing against them but SeaSonic and Super Flower tend to have less failure rates.
