Internet problems

When i have 3 or more powerline adapters up at one time (including on at the router) my internet disconnects occasionally

There is one at my bro's PC and one at mine. But it works perfectly fine when only 2 is in use at a single time

I have a 10Mbps connection

So the solution i had to in mind was to grab a wifi PCIe card and i did! (asus n15)

However im experiencing lagspikes and im getting like 6-7Mbps as compared to the 10Mbps i was getting on powerline adapter (yay atleast im not randomly disconnecting)

Im around 3-4 meters away from my router and there is only 1 glass door in the way.

My question is would getting a wifi extender(powerline) like super close my PC help with my issue? (And would the problem of having 3 or more powerline adapter issue rise again?) Or is there anyway round this problem?

Only real question is why you can't buy 5m ethernet cable and be done with it.

well you don't run cables in the middle of the room, you run them close to the wall, I highly doubt anyone walks that close to the wall.

can also run cables up on the ceiling.

No but really... what TX (transmit) rates are you getting on your computer with the wireless card installed? Also, what router are you using? 2.4GHz range can be pretty congested depending on how close to and how many neighbors you have.
