Depends on what you're doing with it.

If you're doing stuff like gaming I think you should prioritize graphics and go to an i5 instead - you only really need an i7 these days if you're doing stuff like video editing.

Sig under construction.

I would honestly wait till skylake before you upgrade.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Should be fine for the foreseeable future, so I say no unless you have some money to throw around :P

If your gaming performance isn't good enough, you need to look for a better gpu ;)

So should I wait for that or just get a i5-4690k?

How do your games run? If you want more gaming performance, getting a new CPU won't help you that much. What video card do you have?

I have a GTX 760 at the moment, thinking of buying the GTX 980

with the new sales, that wouldn't be a bad idea :) This one is good for the money http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500361&cm_re=gtx_980-_-14-500-361-_-Product

i7 2600 + GTX 980 is a great combo :D
