cooling compatibility

Probably, if they keep the 115x nomenclature it indicates that the socket and mounts for coolers will be the same even if the chips from previous gens aren't compatible. If it did change you would be able to get new compatible mounting hardware though.

 

So short answer, yes, but you may need to buy a new mounting bracket for it.

i have a question will this cooler be compatible with the new LGA 1151 ?
