so every time i play cs go my computer always crashes after any given amount of time in the game (it differs).

the screen gets this glitchy fuzz all over it and it replays the last second of audio over and over and about 5 seconds of that i lose connection to the computer(aka no visual).ive tried testing the heat of the components and all seems normal. it only does this in gmod and cs go, ive also updated drivers and everything i just want this fixed its really annoying :|

Mine is as well. But I just assumed it to be an update. So I left my game alone, as I have plenty else to do. I know other people are having this issue as well.

1. check your integrity of your game files by going to library, right click and go to properties on the game, and local files.

2. Do not play the game on an OC GPU, It didn't like it when I did, even though my OC was stable.

3. Check steam support. they can help you a bit better, as they can speak with valve 1v1 to try and fix the problem.

4. If one of these fixed your problem, GG. Mark it as solved.

specs are

cpu:i5 4460

gpu:radeon r7 240 ram:8 gigs and a 350 watt power supply

Mate, the 240 is a horrible card, not going to bash it but I guess Intel graphics are more stable than the 240, also your psu is kinda low, if you can check my signature I play csgo at 250 fps without problems, with that being said, try to go to your steam library and click csgo properties, then check cache, this may take a while, if the problem persist try to reinstall, drop a post here after that.

The i5 is a really good CPU and 8gigs of ram should help alot.

try running the game using data execution prevention as-well with administrator rights

do you think getting a new graphics card would fix it? and would my psu be able to handle a 750ti?

Sorry, I had class, first, if your friends have any gpu, test with it, if your PC works fine enough without games, it should be the 240, for any 750 you wanna pair it with a 450-600w psu (they all come with 6pin connector and additional cables). Games will run smooth with gtx or r9 series graphics cards.

Don't try using generic psu, it will damage your hardware and you don't want that.

you could get the cheapest 750 with about a 400/420 psu
