Clean a hard disk?

You want to clean the SSD or HDD? You can use the Disk Management in Windows to wipe disks, look up a tutorial on YouTube, it's hard to explain by typing

Well, an easy way to clean a HDD is with some soap and water, though that might leave you with a brick instead :/

You could try formatting it :P

HDD but in disk managemnt there isn't an option to clean every partition on it or to format everything

Are you booting from the HDD? That's the only reason I could think it won't let you format it.

Open up Disk Management, select the HDD, press Delete on each partition. If it doesn't work we're going to need someone who knows more than me :P

Windows 8.1

Perfect, that's what I'm using too so this will be easy for me to walk you through.

Okay, right click the start button, then go to control panel, then from there go to system and security, then to administrative tools, then to computer management, then disk management. (I got all of that from memory except the computer management part, I thought that disk management was right in the administrative tools menu :P)

or press Win + S at the same time, type in disk management, press enter.
