give ASUS a call. Next time double check your hardware compatibility.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

"Hey ASUS, i just bought a CPU that cant run the default bios, hit me up with  some new stuff" In the nicest way posible, i dont understand how asus will help me with with this problem.

no clue, your local pc store can help you out for a minor fee. asus might make you ship it to them and they update it, unless there is a cooler way i don't know about.

sorry, i was just feeling sassy. what do you think about the other idea of jus getting the chearp cpu to run the bios and download the update, then change back to new cpu, or could pc store do that for me?

thats what the pc store is going to do. Lol i think they would charge less than a cpu, not really sure. It should only be like 20 usd. So i would call them first then check local adds for a used cpu. Maybe a member lives close.

1, Buy a used CPU to flash the bios

2, Buy an updated bios and replace your bios chip.

3, Take it into a computer shop and ask if they can flash it for you. Most can.

4, See if you have no CPU flash support. Some boards can be flashed without a CPU or RAM.

It's not a race to the bottom.
