Mounting a Hyper 212 Evo on Socket 2011

How do I fix this?

I have tried for at least half an hour, and I can't get this mounted on Socket 2011. The problem is that the X Bracket is too small for Socket 2011. It says it is compatible on the box. And the mounting hardware worked perfectly on my A88X System. Can you guys tell me what I am doing wrong?

1. you dont use a backplate

2. the X changes size :) you can make it bigger or smaller just spread it apart

3. there are 3 screw holes use the last one

I'm not using a backplate. I have tried moving the X around with no luck.

well for starters the screw is in the wrong hole on the x bracket

 

How do I fix this?
