when do when a wu will be complete ?

so im a noob and just started an hour ago and im running a 4690k at 4.1 ghz and a gtx 970, and so far the eta for wu completion keps bouncing around but where is says gpu and cpu it has a progress bar, so far the cpu is at 17% and the gpu says 21.5% so when do i know its done ? will it be done when both bars are at 100% ?

CPU and GPU works on different projects so when either one of them 100% they have completed the work unit

yes, well most the time you are. you can get the same project or get  several of the same project  in a row. it should tell you a little bit about the project, you may have to open the chome app to see. its pretty cool stuff, i highly recommend looking up what your pc is working on.

ya i looked a bit into and its pretty cool. although i have one more question. when i press stop folding and shut my pc down for the night and turn it back on tomo and start foding will it continue where it left off ?

almost, it saves periodically, so you may be a few minutes behind. there should be a setting for it, not sure where it is.

hmm, i have been doing boinc lately, i have to check f@H setting see if i find anything. I know 22 is crazy, we have had tons of active members after they released the video on it. Also we are kinda a younger team too so, that makes it more impressive. Also keep a eye on temps, folding is very stressful, we all get stressed from math.

temps are good my cpu is sitting at a nice 55-60 degrees and my gpu is at a steady 70 degrees as always and at 50% FAN SPEED, IT REALLY LIKES THAT ZONE WHETHER im gaming or folding it sticks to that 70 degree at 50%

yup, everything looks cool. I hit 68c with fan speed at 68% with g1 gigabyte. Glhf folding.

what 970 do you have? Mine is oced and my room can be 85 f in the summer . I have the stock fan curve, never tried the bios mod to get it to do 0 rpm. When i play games it hovers around 63c. I have it clocked to 1500 on boost clock with 87mv added.

I have the strix. When oc'ed it to boost to 1556 mhz on stock voltage so it stays the same temp either way for me
