Video player with fast forward

Hey guys, I am searching for a Video Player that has a decent fast forward function that you can use by holding one button. For example, when watching a basketball match I'd like to be able to hold a Fast forward button during timeouts.

I agree that you can do that with VLC. If holding down doesn't work, then assign hotkeys for 2x speed and normal speed etc.
