Hi,

I have asked around and found that an r9 280x is suitable for my current build. However there are many manufacturers available and its quite difficult to identity which will be the optimum one for me. Gaming at 1080p ultra settings. No crossfire. Budget around rs 20000

Please help.

It doesn't really matter. I've run Sapphire cards for AMD.

it really dosent matter they all preform very similarly, just find the one that suits your build the best and if you cant decide just get a sapphire there pretty reliable.

Sapphire for AMD 

EVGA , MSI or Gigabyte for nVIDIA

Any one of them from a bigger brand like,

Sapphire,
MSI,
Gigabyte,
ASUS,
Colorful,
Powercolo,
etc.



That is witout overclocking, For overclocking id recommend the Sapphire or Gigabyte.

Evga is only for nvidia

XFX is only for Amd

Any of these is gr8:ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, PowerColor,....any of big brands is ok...

What matters is the coler type

Blower, Exhaust...

Blower if you have good case cooling

Exgaust(like the reference) if not

I'd recommend almost anything, except for Asus since their DCUii cooler is quite bad on AMD 200 series cards.

Also for the 1st one, it says that 750W PSU is required.

Will a PSU of exact 750W do??
