Student PC build

Go to solution Solved by ZetZet,

Wait, you mean get the 4460 from the 800€ build? Not from the expensive one?

Take the first build and change 4690k+z97 to 4460+h97/h81...

Hello, so I'm a student and I'm building my first decent computer mainly for gaming.

Budget & Location

I live in Latvia and my budget is around 850€. I am buying from a local internet shop, stuff is about the same price as in Germany.

Aim

I will mostly be playing some light games on 1080p monitor, sometimes something like GTA V or BF4. Usually CS:GO, Skyrim, Minecraft, Unturned, FIFA, Portal 2. I have been using a mid-range laptop for over a year now playing on low resolutions, so I'd like to play them on pretty high settings. I am also learning programming, sometimes I make stuff on the schools 3D printer. I am also using Adobe Creative Suite CC from time to time, usually Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects & Premiere Pro.

Monitors

I'll be using 2 monitors, for now I will use some cheap 1366x768 monitor I have lying around, later I'll be adding proper 1080p monitor.

Why are you upgrading?

Using laptop for gaming and Adobe programs with 4 GB RAM is hard, so I've been looking to buy a proper computer, not an expensive one but I hope it will be a big improvement.

At first I made thread about building an Intel build but it is over 950€ and I can't really afford it, here's the link:

And now I've made this AMD build, do you think it's worth to save the money and get this? Also, is 600W PSU enough for this build?

Is it worth paying 200€ price premium to get the Intel one? Because I really don't know if I need the more power from the processor. And it doesn't really fit in my budget.

Will gaming be impacted a lot? How about using Adobe CC? What would be the difference in performance between the 200€ price difference? Should I downgrade Intel build to something like this: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/FrkGYJfor ~800€ ? What would be the best option from those 3 builds? I really don't think I can afford the Intel 1000€ build unless it's really really worth it. Thanks!

Or you could just get i5 4460 and it would be the best of both worlds.

It only saves 60€. Is it way better than the FX 8300?

No it doesn't. You save on mobo and cpu. So it will save like 100 or more. And yes it is way better.
