hello

 

each time i turn on my pc all the lights and fans are on but after one second everything is off but after another second the pc is on again and will boot normally i did some heavy rendering and stress tests

 

for hours everythings works fine no heat no issues is this boot normal?

 

specs:core i7 5820k

          x99-A asus

          kingston furry 16gb ddr4 2400mhz

          gtx 970 strix

          ssd intel + hdd seagate

          corsair power supply HXi 850watt platinum

This is 100% Memory related issue. You have some sort of RAM incompatability going on. Reset BIOS to default setting and try again.

Try enabling XMP of the RAM profile. Press F10 to save and exit and check again.

Actually this is 100% PSUs doing. And completely normal of that sort. This kind of self-test usually happens on every cold boot. That is every time PSUs flip switch has been turned off or whole PC has been disconnected from wall socket. Same kind of self-test can happen after overclocking where both PSU and mobo are checking if correct amount of power is being supplied.

Well, I have an X99 system and I this only happens, yes on cold boot, or when the there is a problem with RAM settings. I had this issue every time I was trying to overclock my RAM and put in incorrect settings.

Cmos clock and OS clock show the same times?
