Posted June 10, 2015 So, I just got a mac laptop from early 2011. It has been fixed a little and it had its hard drive replaced, by a new one. Its speed is like 100mbps reading and 80mpbs writing, is this fast enough for gaming or am I going to get a huge boost if I change it for an SSD. The SSD I'm thinking of getting is a Samsung 850 Evo. Posted June 10, 2015 A boost in loading times, sure, but it won't benefit gaming performance aside from that.
