So ive decided once i go and take my phone in (Today) when i get a replacement which is all they ever do. I want to root my phone. But i want to do it properly and make sure that i dont balls it up too bad. So i figured this would be the first place to ask. So. Does anyone have any really Good guides? or tips and tricks or really anything that would be useful Or even a guide you made yourself. Also are there any ROMs that i should stay away from? (Incase you missed the title I have a verizon S3 { I dont know if carrier means anything or not})

Also, what are some good ROMs that i should look into and why do you like them more?

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Check out the XDA forums also i would go with CM 10.1 at the moment that seems like the most stable ROM for the S3.

Also i would see if you can find a tool or just do it manually as you want CWM recovery thats the best recovery i have used so far.

Also if you are looking to flash the kernel i would be careful about that a lot of them are problem starters theres only one kernel i would recommend which is Siyah Kernel.

XDA is the place to go. Rooting shouldn't be a problem, using Odin I rooted my S4 in less than 5 minutes and I also believe there is a one touch root or something like that out there too!
