Windows freeze problems

Go to solution Solved by SbthePOTATO,

I tried doing that but the installation froze. So I guess the problem lies within my ssd.

Luckily I found this:

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2373829/kingston-v300-ssd-windows-media-drivers-install-error.html

So I have fixed the problem but sadly I had to format my ssd.

Everytime I boot into windows it will freeze after a few minutes.

I have tried booting into safe mode to run /sfc scannow to check for system corruption but even it crashes before the scan finishes.

So I go into startup options and choose to run cmd and do /sfc scannow.

I get that message so I reboot to apply the changes, but that doesn't do anything. Windows will still crash, after that I did the same thing with cmd a few more times without a result. at this point I decide to do some research and I get a recommendation to try and write this into cmd:

@Echo off
rem delete old files
del /q %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log
del /q c:\sfcdetails.txt
rem run sfc
sfc /scannow
rem filter out non essential junk from the cbs.log
findstr /c:"[sR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >c:\sfcdetails.txt
rem open details in notepad
notepad c:\sfcdetails.txt
rem optional command to shut down & restart pc after running. this may be needed if
rem sfc replaces some critical files. uncomment (remove the 'rem') to activate.
rem shutdown -r

exit

my pc will freeze before that process finishes in windows and straight up refuses to work outside of windows.

at this point I wonder if something is wrong with my ssd because everytime after windows crashes the ssd uses 5 or so minutes to recover and show up as a drive in my bios.

I check for some potential problems and find out that I should change from IDE to AHCI which I do and still the ssd uses quite some time to show up as a drive in my bios.

in the meantime I have also done multiple ccleaner registry scan tests and fixed all errors which was difficult because I only had a minute or two from startup to run the test before the system locked up.

at the end of all this trouble I have problems with my ssd and with windows all of the sudden. I have never had problems with the ssd or with windows before.

System specs:

CPU: Intel i5-4670k

Motherboard: Asus z87 sabertooth (updated to the newest bios)

SSD: Kingston v300 ssd now 120gb

Video card(s): 2x gtx 660 (drivers were up to date)

PSU: Corsair rm1000 (which was rma'd for about a year ago and I got a new working one after that)

OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

I don't know what the windows crashing problem comes from and how to fix this. I would love if I dont have to format my ssd because there is data I dont want to lose on it.

Easiest thing to do is to fix the install with either the install disk, or usb medai repair disk.

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 3.2GHz || GPU:(first release,used) MSI R9 270 OC || Motherboard:MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard || RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 || Monitors: Vizio 22 in Ultra slim 1080p TV || Storage: Seagate barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM,(REFURB) 1TB toshiba 7200RPM || PSU: (stripped from 2013 CAD PC)Corsair CX600 build was under $420
