Whenever my laptop goes to sleep (I shut the screen), when I wake it up it shows a blue screen like this and I have to shut it down and restart my laptop by running windows normally.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

can you post a crash dump so I can see about finding the source problem of your BSOD?

This tells how to find the crash dump: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3396005/where-can-i-find-windows-crash-dump-blue-screen-crash-dump

then just upload it as an attachment if you can. or mediafire.

Or just post the results by copying and pasting the text of teh crashdump.txt

looks like your USB is crashing the pc....might wanna try removing all the usb drivers first

I mean...I guess he could try forcing the laptop into sleepmode with none of the usb ports occupied...and see if that fixes the problem. but if it does, then we need to fix the usb problem.

I don't see why it wouldn't be there. try looking in event viewer..see if there is a critical error. most recent is what we are interested in.

"The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device USB\VID_138A&PID_0050\1c1100b0e8af."

and "Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications." was there too
