I have a copy of windows 8 pro from the dreamspark (Microsoft)  program form my university.

Now I am not at University anymore. I will be able to upgrade to Windows 10??  :(

 

 

P.S

I have update it to 8.1 with all the updates

As long as you are running an activated version of windows 7/8 it should be fine...

While the license will still work, and remains valid. The Dreampask license which you agree upon when you "order" your Windows for free (or any software from Dreamspark premium) states that you are supposed to stop using it once you are no longer a student.

Microsoft has never enforced this, probably (personal guess) to give you headroom, of you know.. finding a job, settle in, start your life, and buy a new version of Windows as normal when you can. Although, I don't expect them to advertise this, and it would definitely not please the legal department of the company.
