My budget for this build is $500 NZD in New Zealand so parts are more expensive in NZ compared to the US

I'm wanting this PC to be used for low-end games like Gmod, Minecraft, CS:GO etc. on a 1024 x 768 monitor, I already have peripherals, i have a windows 7 product key on the side of an old pre-build system (i don't know if it still works) and i'm probably going to be upgrading my hardware near Christmas time when i get more money and my drivers i'll update from time to time.

so if somebody on the internet can help me that would be much appreciated

p.s. i already have a wd blue 1tb

Dude a scrapyard build is your best option.

500$ NSD is pennies when it comes to building a PC you can do it yes but it's going to be horrendous.

Not to mention the fact that it can only store 64gb on its drive.

Also good job on the guess you were pretty dead on.
