Why do you need the i7 and 16gb of ram?

What about HDD?

I've got some HDD's from my old NAS I've put some bigger ones in that. And I shall be video editing and rendering on this build and as far as I know the i7 is better than i5 for that.

Why not an H100i?

It costs a little more which I'd rather not spend to be honest. But depending when I order the H100 or H100i whats cheaper I'll get is their even a performance difference at all between them?

Yes. The H100i performs better. Also supports Corsair Link which gives you more control over it.

If you like customization, it does. Here's a review of the H100i. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cooling/2012/12/05/corsair-h100i-review/1

It performs roughly 2 degrees C better with the same settings, so it'd be better to choose it over the H100 based on customization features. If that still doesn't matter to you, then the H100 will suffice.

That's reasonable I shall probably choose when it comes to ordering the cooling.

Personally, I'm using a Kraken x60, but many cases won't fit that and does cost a bit more than even the H100i.

Depending is the Kraken x60 worth it and I shall be using a C70 case. Will it fit?

Both will fit in the c70.

According to Anandtech, the kraken destroys the h100i: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6530/closing-the-loop-contained-liquidcoolers-from-corsair-and-nzxt-compared/5

No. It will not fit. The C70 only supports two 120s at the top. The Kraken x60 uses two 140s.

Taking a look at Newegg's and Corsair's page, it will not fit in the case.

Seems Corsair needs to fix their page. They don't list 140mm fans being supported.

Looks like I shall be getting the Kraken then!

Tip for the future (What I do): Search up specific compatibilities to see if it has been done before or whether or not a particular problem can be addressed with a mod of some sort.

Did the person mod the C70 to get this to fit?

Modding wasn't mentioned by the people on the thread so it seems normal that the Kraken fits.
