Google Photo Auto Backup Pause Help...

Google has a new auto backup app for desktops.. It has a pause feature and i have no idea how it works! When i pause the backup when its uploading a video does it start from the beginning of the video or continue from where it left off in the video?? I have a limited amount of data usage and that's why i want to know this..

Test it? I would assume it moves whole files so it will start from all over if you pause in the middle of big file. But if it works like torrent, it will continue where it was.

I have no way to test it! Because google hasn't provided a progress bar. Or any indication of how far the file has been transferred!
