SLI or TI?

Go to solution Solved by AliveGhost13,

Ok, this one?

EVGA 110-B2-0750-VR

Yes, that's a good PSU. :)

Should I go dual 970's? or go for 1 980 ti

What resolution and refresh rate for your monitor. I would say a single 980 Ti over SLI anyday. I run SLI and not all games scale well with SLI.

Was for other guy and it was 2 290x's

kk.

but yeh, one 980ti would be better and then add one later when the card doesnt perform up to your standards, so basically you probably wont need to add another one for a while.

Aesthetically two GPUs look way better than one but that's about all sli has going for it another vote for 980ti

Do you have a definate date of getting a different monitor.. or what it will be (res and refresh?)

If no I say get 1 970 and bump to a k processor and a better quality PSU..

I got dual 780's with the expectation of getting a swift, which I never did (really want IPS @ 144hz) and it was a mistake..

Buy when your ready to buy or KNOW that you will use it in x time..

1 970 is plenty for 1080 and if it's going to be a year, you'd be better served selling the 970 and going to next gen.

I only have a budget of around 1550$ DOE :(

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040 Well it has several reviews stating it dies and not very reliable. I don't have one so I would not know.

No.. no it really isn't.. decent on a budget at the right price.. but far from " one of the better"

Go for a EVGA G2 or Gs.. xfx are all Seasonic units and solid.. Superflower are pretty damn good too.

The CX is not one of the better PSUs out there, you are terribly misinformed.

Look at EVGA G2, GS, B2 (often cheap), XFX XTR, Antec HCG
