I will rebuilding a system that has already had something attempt to kill it(a leaky Closed loop cooler),and i brought it back from the dead,only the GPU died.

It has just had another"Death" due to my sis knocking over a soda onto it,and i will Make sure it is reborn from the ashes. I don't know how or when due to not having any extra money right now.

The specs for the system.

CPU: AMD FX-8150 @ 3.6Ghz

Mobo:Sabertooth 990FX(Dead)

RAM:Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4GB(8GB kit)

GPU:XFX R9 270X DD 2GB(7970 before it which died a year ago)

PSU:Cougar CMX-1000W

CASE:Cooler Master Haf 932 Advanced

SSD:OCZ Agility 3 60GB

HDD:Hitachi 2TB

I don't have many pics from before but here is what i have.

Sorry for All the dust it tends to be a while in between cleanings on this pc.

This was the only pick i had from when she was first build,i would of done more but i the first mobo i had got was bad so i had to return it. So i had forgotten to take more pics.

The next pic is from after the 7970 died,i thought i had pics of the damage to the 7970,but i can't find the pics anywhere. The GPU i put in because i had no other spares at the time. It was an ATI x600.

Now on to the pics of the damage. These were taken before i started to take it apart.

Now here is some pic while i was taking it apart.

I will rebuild her some someday,idk how or when but i will update this log as i am able to clean her up and start testing parts.

I will also update once i find out how and when i am able start the rebuild.

You may not believe but the pic from after the 7970 had died,i had cleaned it just 1 1/2 months before the pics,dust builds fast where i am for some reason.

 

In the current pics I had cleaned it 2 months before when i lent it to my sister.

 

My current rig i have been cleaning at least once a month.

Here where I live they get even more dust than that. It isn't weird to see that I bath them after some months
