NOOOOOOOO! don't get an AMD cpu for the love of god no.

 

The 295x2 is 12" long, and takes two 8 pin connectors, it also consumes 500 watts.

Most cables usually will come with the power supply and motherboard so no need to worry.

This is true but still the price to performance is hard to beat for the 295x2. HONESTLY I'm waiting to build my next computer for the new line of amd to come out, and if hbm and their "fury blah blah whatever" card is worth it. If it isn't I'm going to pick up a 295x2 aswell, maybe even two of them seeing as they SHOULD go down in price somewhat. Don't get me wrong tho, the 980ti is a good card aswell I ain't no fanboy.
