Computer Sleep issues...

Go to solution Solved by JefferyD90,

did you just replace the motherboard without doing a clean install of Windows?

So I have had this issue with my computer ever since I put in my new motherboard where, when I put the computer to sleep it will wake up about 30 minutes later and it says that the power button was the cause of the wake when I check the event viewer

I have the ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 motherboard and the cooler Master Haf 932 case.

I have tried reverting the power settings to default, and updating all my MoBo chipsets but nothing is working.

This is what the Event View tells me...

The system has resumed from sleep.

Wake Time: ‎2015‎-‎05‎-‎28T11:58:39.061032100Z

Wake Source: Power Button

Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Maybe turn the plug around of the switch?

No idea, i've seen this once and turned out the switch was just faulty.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yeah I was kind of thinking it was this but it only started once I put in my new MoBo...

F*** I forgot that can cause some problems... I will reinstall everything once I get my new GPU in because that'll be easier to do anyways... thanks for the help and making me feel dumb again lol  :D
