Updating to UEFI

Go to solution Solved by Ghost Taco,

After reading up one the site, I can't update to UEFI with my rev. UEFI is for rev 3.0 or 4.0(I think)

I have a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev 1.1) motherboard and I'm wandering how I would go about updating it to have the UEFI instead of BIOS? If I'm even able to.

CPU is a Phenom II X4 965 and its OC if that matters at all

If you get upgrade to UEFI bios that would best! It more managed and easier to flick through.

If you are updating bios, I would recommend updating either in the Bios or in a DOS environment by creating a bootable USB if your motherboard supports these functions. After updating the bios, if it doesn't post, I would do a CMOS reset because I usually do this and it fixes it.
