980ti vs sli 970

Hello, I currently have sli Zotac amp omega edition 970s, I want to do a custom loop in my computer but ek does not make blocks for this card, so I have been thinking about selling my 970s and then buying a 980 ti so then I can do my custom watercooling loop. I have a 4k monitor so I was wondering how this would effect my performance while playing at 4k and do you guys think this is worth? (Money is not that big of a problem)

I'd say 980 ti , it has the vRAM to handle 4K for a very long time. I would consider the 970 only for 1080p or 1440p.

If money isn't an issue, i'd say go for it. You'll have a slight drop in performance in some good scaling games, but that's it.
