Windows Phone.

Go to solution Solved by Bogica,

1520 or 930 or wait a bit enjoy the new features the 940 will provide. It will feature Continuum (look it up) and possibly 3D gestures and some special senor (Rumors). Either way, the 630 is a 512mb WP and works perfectly, so a WP with 1GB RAM just kicks ass. Performance is great across the entire range. If you have any questions I used to own a Lumia 920 for 18 months, sold it and I might be going back to WP in a few days. Probably will go with a 640, it's a very nice budget WP. :)

Folks.

My upgrade is due in a couple of months so I have started to think about which phone to change to. Currently I have a iPhone 5s and to be honest I am done with iphones. My work phone is a Lumia 630 which to be honest I really enjoyed using so I was thinking about changing to a windows phone.

So the question is... what is the best windows phone out there and what would you recommend? I am not interested in Apple or Android phones so just windows suggestions please.

please don't get windows phone, android is the superior platform, there is way more apps for both iOS and Android, but if you insist get a Microsoft/Nokia Lumia 930

I too like my windows phone, but everyone only develops their apps for IOS and Android, and I feel super left out. :(

I used to have a HTC HD2, the first thing I did was put Android on it :P

To be honest I really do not use any apps other than the standard facebook, twitter, snapchat etc.. plus I do have an ipad.

All I have to say is Eww Windows Phone. Android 5.0 is so much better than older Android builds (Kit kat was okay but not as good as Lollipop). Windows Phone has been around for 5 years, and still not a great OS.

You could argue the same about both of those. Android WILL start lagging and bugging sooner or later, updates are late or never come, you will get abandoned and usually updates bring a whole new range of bugs or screw ups. iOS updates slow your phone down, with each new iOS version the older iPhones take a major performance hit, the app store is large but still is missing quite a few important apps (for me) that won't work on iOS because it is locked down and because US laws don't allow it (looking at phone call recording). :P
