Hi,

I was wondering how programs such as AI Suite 3 that allow for fan tuning/automatic overclocking in Windows affect my Bios settings. For example, if I set custom fan curves in AI Suite 3, will the Bios reflect that? And what if I start twiddling with the fan settings in the Bios? Will it override my AI Suite 3 settings? I'm kinda confused as to what overrides what..

Cheers

They don't modify the BIOS settings - but they do override the settings in the BIOS when Windows and the software are running.

What Godly said, in addition to this i will add that some software do not KEEP these changes upon restarting. Requiring you to either manually load these profiles, or re-enter the values.

Yes but if I have overclocked in AI Suite 3 what will happen to my bios settings for my CPU settings?

If I remember correctly, they simply get overridden.
