Completely overkill and I like it. I'd personally save $100-$200 and get a cheaper mobo like a Gaming-7 and why 6 TBs? Oh and I'd get a NZXT x61 kraken but that's personal.

Raid 1 so it'd only really be 3TBs, and the gaming 9 ack has a streaming card built in and has other features, but I'm always looking for better ones just in case.

Every time i see threads like this i cry (a little) at the state of the AUD because that how much MY PC cost in AUD (would've been something like $1700US from direct currency conversion, probably less than $1500 since parts seem to be cheaper over there)
