I have three family members that want new computers, I need help picking out parts, ill be posting what they do if i could get some optimal parts feedback.

 

One of them only uses her computer for web, email and looking at a few photos... So i was thinking i3 or an AMD Processor??

 

One does more taxing, word, web, light gaming, basically a everything computer. So i5?

 

One does heavy gaming, video watching, lots of tabs open at one time, lots of games and pics. So i7 and a big HDD?

 

 

 

Basically i have only built one computer and i didnt really know what to get so i want to get parts right when i build them. Motherboard, CPU is the two i am questioning for these three if you could help.

So 10000 Dollars is no problem?

I3, I5 and I7 is not ranked lke that at all.

 

The first, i would gve the cheapest you can find. Something like a pentium woud be fine

The second, whatever AMD APU fits the budget best

The last, Something between fx 6300 and 7870 and OC 8320 and 780

So are you looking at one system to cater for all 3 needs / people or 3 systems for 3 people all at different specs.

If someone just wants for web / music / school work etc i would suggest a laptop is the best for that.

for the 2nd system (if you want 3x ) can i suggest an small m-itx system in something like a prodigy case

and maybe the full ATX rig for the main gamer system.

depending on your budget and personal preference determines if you want Intel or AMD or both.

This is pretty good, depending on what ight gaming is build 2 might be a tad overkill.
