so right now I have the Hyper 212 EVO with 2 NF-F12's in pushpull. im getting mid lower 80's running prime 95 with a 4.5Ghz oc on my 3570k. should I upgrade to the Dark Knight tower or maybe do a custom wc loop? my case is the antec 1100 which has a 200mm fan mount on the top and not much room anywhere for a rad

Well, prime95..... You're not going to realistically see those temps... I'll wager you probably don't go much higher than 60 under gaming load so it's probably fine to stay with the 212 and save up for something awesome, like a new case that supports watercooling

I am good at computer

MId to low 80's are a bit to hot for a CPU. You want it to be max 75 degress celsius (I assume we are dealing in cesius). You might be fine, since Prime95 is a artificial test. But yes, you might want to either turn the overclock down or get another cooler. I don't know much about Xigmatek coolers , so I can't really say anything about it. Maybe an 2x120mm AOI water cooler like the Corsair H100i or CoolerMaster Seidon would be something for you?

Well that really depends on you, obviously upgraded cooling can give you better performance and lower noise but there really isn't a NEED to upgrade.

If you have money to spare and would like better cooling and/or lower noise and/or better looks, then go for it!

I really do like my Dark Knight. It looks bloody fantastic and so far I've been happy with the cooling results.

THAT BEING SAID... I would NOT consider it a drastic upgrade from an Evo. You MIGHT get a couple extra degrees, but nothing really worth writing home about. Get something a little beefier.

I would love to add an AIO but I dont have a spot for 2x120mm just a spot for a 200mm rad

my evo is silent with the NF-F12's :p

but ya the dark knight would be a whole lot more appealing visually :D

I dont know if it would be worth a $45 upgrade for no real performance boost

The Antec 1100 should be able to fit a 2x120mm AOI watercooler. You could also look into some single 120mm AOI's, but go for one with a thicke rad

It's not. The Dark Knight is better than the Evo, yes, but not by a whole lot. Honestly probably about $10-15 of the DKII's price tag is in that "stealth" finish...

Try http://www.frostytech.com/'>Frosty Tech. They're basically the Jonny Guru of CPU coolers. They have reviews of just about every cooler currently available on the market, and gigantic comparison charts at the end of each review. The charts are a little cluttered and hard to read, and older reviews don't get updated as new coolers are released, but I haven't found really any other website with such thorough reviews on coolers. Maybe they'll be able to help you pick something out.
