keyboards and key switches

Go to solution Solved by Giteau,

But i found this one would this be like a good starter mechanical keybord. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6U42B99455

If that really is a Cherry MX Black keyboard as it says, it will not feel the same as the Razer keyboard you tried (assuming it was the clicky one). But it will still be good, just a bit heavy for my tastes. This is all dependant on whether it really is an MX Black keyboard.

Ok i do not have lots of money to spend on a keybord and i saw the razror keyboard at walmart and felt the keys and they felt amazing so im wondering is there somthing like thouse keyswitches that feel the same or like it under 50 bucks?

Look for cherry mx blue switches. The new razer switches are there own green switches.

Let's try again, this time with punctuation and a description on which keyswitch it is (describing it by feel and sound for example).

The razer's switches are similar to mx blues. I use the CM storm quickfire tk mx blue version, its quite cheap for a backlit mech KB. About 80-90$

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

i apologize for my punctuation and spelling but 80 is a bit to steep for a keyboard im looking to spend maybe 30 to 40

Please, for the love of God, read up on switches first and then start thinking which ones would you like the most.

Please note the most common switches are MX Blue, Brown, Red and Black. Others are rather hard to obtain, not to mention non-Cherry switches.
