Which cpu cooler should I get instead of the nh-d15? The store I'm getting it from doesn't have it in stock. :/

h100i = no cause mounting issues.  I've experienced this first hang unfortunately.

h100i = no cause mounting issues.  I've experienced this first hang unfortunately.

 

You really shouldn't push other people away from something because you had issues with it in your case, Other people such as myself have had no issue's and like our H100i coolers.  That said you can get corsairs new coolers which are probably better now anyways, so that would be the reason not to get a h100i unless you can get a h100i at a big discount.

I've never had a mounting issue with my h100i that I've mounted on 2 cases.

EDIT: BE Quiet is a good choice also as mentioned.

Is it the D14 dramatically different in performance to the d15?

Dramatically different ? no. Prob 5c at most. Id say it's worth the wait for stock tho if you can get the d15. I have the d-14 and its great . I mean I had my 2500k @ 5ghz under 65c while gaming. It was the best for its time. But unless you can get it for a bit less Id just wait for stock or go with the other options if you want the best.
