I would say the Artisan Hayate it's one of the best mouse pads I've ever had its really smooth and fast and also feels like quality, overall it's make from better things compared to other mouse pads for example it donesn't use the crappy prom that most mouse pads use.

I wqs looking for one of these as well and havw found it but its more of a material check out c4 mousepads. I personally looking for a hard pad thats slick now. Most hard pads I had in the past, though very smooth, were never slick.

smooth is diff from slick? if that's the case, seems like there's a reason for me not to sell my Manticor which i already posted for sale lol

Well one thing is that you have an excellent taste in mice. For fast mousepads though, check out the Roccat Sota, though I wouldn't really recommend it and hard mats in general.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

The desk surface.  For me a mouse pad has never been something I like to use and with my current desk which has been used for three rigs and three mice the no mouse pad option was the best.  It might be the best option for you.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yes from my experience. The 2 smoothest mouse pads ive ever had were the SteelSeries I2 and SX. They both have a very flat even surface. The mouse pads that I had found to be the sickest have always been hard plastic pad with texture. The S&S and especially the SP were both quite slick. My guess is that has to do with the texture lowering the friction because less of the mouse pad is touching the surface area of the mouse feet.

But yea the slickest mouse pad that i have ever used has been these http://goo.gl/i5Lem only problem is that they dont offer any pad with a hard backing on them. They will however cover anything you send them so I have been on the lookout for a piece of 12in x 10in metal, the thicker the better in mt eyes.

Lol haha, thanks! I tried the Manticor at a shop, does anyone know if the Artisan Hien/Hayate/Shiden/Shiden Kai is smoother/slicker? Ima look more into amazon global items. Options here aren't as broad..

Appreciate the feedback! Helps me alot!
