4k in ultra

Go to solution Solved by Badger906,

a single 980ti will play most games at 4k ultra with some compromise. things like AA aren't needed at 4k and lowering shadows and post processing won't affect visual performance but will gain fps.

2 980ti's would be best.

I'm making do with just the 1 for my 4k g sync monitor.

By two gpus do you mean expansion slots?

If not, get a 980ti and then you'll have room for sli in the future

I would recommend either a 295x2 or a 980Ti.

Multi GPU configs can work, such as R9 290(x) CF or 980 SLI, but I think the 295x2 and 980Ti make the most sense if you're starting from zero.

It may also be worth waiting to see what the new AMD cards look like.  Fiji may end up being a better option than both the 295x2 and 980Ti.

4K // R5 3600 // RTX2080Ti
