To Crossfire or Not To Crossfire

I need your opinions about my build, it's two similar builds but one of them takes advantage of 2 GPUs (in the future) in Crossfire. 

 

BUILD ONE: Non-Crossfire

  • Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition CPU
  • ASRock B85M-HDS Motherboard
  • G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB 1600MHz Memory
  • PALIT GeForce GTX 750 2GB GDDR5 128-BIT StormX GPU
  • ASUS 24D3ST Black 24X SATA CD Drive
  • Kingston Fury Series 120GB SSD
  • Thermaltake Versa H24 Mid-Tower Case
  • Corsair CX500 PSU

 

BUILD TWO: Crossfire

 

  • Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition CPU
  • ECS Z87H3-A4 GL Motherboard
  • G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB 1600MHz Memory
  • PowerColor TurboDuo R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 128-BIT GPU 
  • ASUS 24D3ST Black 24X SATA CD Drive
  • Kingston Fury Series 120GB SSD
  • Thermaltake Versa H24 Mid-Tower Case
  • Corsair CX500 PSU

Has a Ph.D in Nothing and does not speak Chinese, Italian or French. (aber ich kann Deutsch sprechen)

270x cf is a waste. 

Pentium is not worth it. I3 all the way.

also gtx 750 is bad value.

you should request a mod to move this to builds, its in the software section.

 

I always prefer 1 card over 2 upto a point. it might me better to also request the community to design a build for you with your budget and requirements.

I didn't notice that. How weird. I would love that, but the problem is, not all parts are available here in my computer parts retailer, and my credit card has been blocked for some reason, so I'm literally stuck to the parts which are available here.

Has a Ph.D in Nothing and does not speak Chinese, Italian or French. (aber ich kann Deutsch sprechen)

For the single GPU build, you should try to squeeze a gtx 750 ti if you can. Much better performance, with only a little more cost.
