Speculation here. probably now that they found out that valyrian steel works against white walkers they are going to launch an expedition to valyria to find more valyrian steel.

In the books that would be straight up impossible because Valyria's ruins there are said to be haunted and overrun with demons, nobody ever comes back from it. (Except maybe Euron who claims he did but does have some goodies from there to somewhat strenghten his claim)

They never tell you what the Doom of Valyria actually is, but the backstory says it was a MASSIVE cataclysm that caused 14 volcanoes to erupt (canon)

It was Volantis in both the book and show, nobody has stepped foot into Valyria and stepped out EXCEPT SUPPOSEDLY Euron Crows-eye Greyjoy

Anyway I'm still thinking they are going to launch a expedition to old valyria. I can't imagine they made the entire scenery just for that one scene.
