I am running a Sapphire Dual X R9270X OC edition and was wondering would I better performance in crossfire or just getting a new video card?

 

I play Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Far Cry 4 etc....

 

System Specs

 

AMD 750k FM2 processor

Asrock FM2A75M Pro4+

8 GB DDR3 PC 1600

EVGA 600W PS 80+ Bronze

Sapphire Dual X R9 270X OC 2 GB GDDR5

Samsung Evo 250GB SSD

z97, i5 4690k.. Probably need ram too.. Make sure you have 8GB DDR3 to go with it

 

Your card isn't amazing but it will be held back by that system in BF4 and newer games in a significant way.

 

I'd actually be tempted to sell your whole rig and start from scratch (sell it as an entry level gaming PC) then combine the $600 with what you get for it and add a new GPU, PSU, storage and case... should be doable
