Buying GPU from Ebay, Smart?

I want to upgrade to a new graphics card and I saw that I might be able to save some money if I buy a Graphics card from ebay, but my only concern is, if this is a smart move and I that i wont get any problems when I get it.

worked well for me. if it doesnt work you can get a refund though ebay

I wouldn't recommend it but it depends what you are buying and from what seller.

depends on how much the difference is between ebay prices and stock prices.

 

if it's somewhere around 20-30 bucks difference just pay for retail prices and be a lot safer.

Well, I got scammed while trying to sell a gpu, but if you are trying to buy either something really cheap or something that has been discontinued and can confirm that the seller is legit then I would recommend it especially because you are entitled as a buyer to a money back guarantee if the product does not match the description.

Only if it from a reputable seller with a good history of 95% or higher.

Oh don't buy from a Chinese seller 9/10 it will be a fake or damaged. (I don't have a source to quote from atm but there are plenty of articles and notices from Ebay on this)

I never recommend buying electronics from ebay, it usually turns out bad.

For mort cases its no different from buying directing from a well know website. Newegg has an ebay store for instance. Ive bought new and used off of ebay and will continue to do so. Just find sellers with 90+% positive ratings. Paypal doesn't mess round when it comes to issues.
